Windows would be a bonus as she could also use it for remotely accessing the office instead of using the desktop PC in the house Thumbs Up

There is no need to run windows to remotely connect to windows - if there was I'd be f*cked! I do all my <shudder> Windows support from Linux or my Android devices (even an iPad sometimes) Land Rover Addict

I am in the It industry and we run non stop tests on loads of gear. And also rent out equipment to some big players in the UK who know what they are doing when putting 100+ units on contract as a time.

And the best two out there at the moment on two differing platforms are IMO the DJC Touch Tab 4 which run Jelly Bean and the Dell Latitude 10 if wanting Windows 8 that actually works as it should and great for RD etc, the Dell being mega popular over the last 4 months for company and work related projects. Far to many gone...

I lost (Mislaid Whistle ) my BB Playbook so tonight I bought the excellent latest Kindle Fire HDX and am very pleased so far. Watching TV on it will at my desk so no issue not having flash. Loving its light weight, small size and incredible resolution. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

PS: Currys/PC World have it £30 cheaper than most at £170 and you get a further £30 cashback after 21 days...
