United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

I had one as a loaner and would agree. I couldn't find any love for it. Yes it's a decent enough car, and yes it looks quite snazzy, but No, for me it really isn't a Range Rover. It just doesn't feel like a RR, more like your average eurobox does these days.

Of course, bearing the above in mind I find the price tag more than a little arrogant as well. Probably fair to say it's a Freelander in a posh frock and twice the price it should be.

In spite of the above though I am glad they're selling well. That means more R&D money for proper Range Rovers.

I cannot see how it can be called a Range Rover!

Why not rename the whole series?

Range Rover Discovery
Range Rover Freelander
Range Rover Defender

It is NOT a Range Rover!

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Just had a scoot about in the one i have at the mo, really dont like the feeling driving it all that much, even though it is an suv it feels like driving a car, could be because i drive either a ff, disco, hilux or off road forklift it really feels low.

Also the dash feels quite high.

Subjectively Drives well though, its quite poky, and handles well enough, better than the fl2 i usually get. I quite like the looks from the outside. However i will say there are much better ways of spending the best part of 40k Whistle There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

You're going to get Defender, Discovery and Range Rover as sub-brands with models under each - hence the new bonnet badging.

Sorry, after having owned five Range Rovers starting with a 3.5 litre carburettor V8 (would never have a diesel!), there should only ever be one marque worthy of the Range Rover name!
Same with the Mini, classic car, now been bastardised by BMW! How the hell can they call a car only slightly smaller than HMS Ark Royal a Mini! And the 4x4 is even bigger!

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Luxor

I rented one in Majorca on holiday and I found it a very pleasant drive (on Majorca roads obviously) my only concerns were the lack of power, the room in it (it is very clostrophobic) the visibility is crap and I'm not sure that (do the do a two wheel drive?) mine was a 4 x 4 as it got stuck a couple of times (one time on a flat sandy beach car park!!!)

Biggest complaint of all was (it was a two door) the rear seat access had to be gained by moving the seat forward electrically which takes ages - very anoying if people need to get in the back.

I will say the finish of the stitching and general build quality were very good - don't know whether its worth 45k but very nice all the same.

Very much a girly / hairdressers car due to visibility and looks- my girlfriend liked it!
