As part of the MY14.5 de-contenting I see that the steering wheel hub for MY14.5 is black plastic rather than leather matching the colour of the seats as previously. This is a real step backwards in my opinion as I really liked the fact that on ivory interiors the steering wheel hub was ivory leather. It really added something to the interior and now it is just drab matt black plastic like my 2010

Does anyone know if it would be possible to order the old steering wheel hub as a part and swap it with the MY14.5 one?

It's only on the Vogue but I'm p*ssed off about it as well. Mine is a jan build so will get the shoite steering wheel!

No, I understand it's across the range. The rear arches being no longer trimmed in leather is just specific to the Vogue .

I doubt they'd of re-tooled the steering wheel for the black cover, but suspect the cover isn't available as a separate item. So I am guessing you'd have to order an MY13 wheel.. go for MY13 also, as the centres on these are a smoother leather, my MY14 seems to be a cheaper leather! compared to my previous MY13 model.

What's strange is that a duo tone leather steering wheel is an option for the Sport so I don't understand why they have deleted it from the FF.

No doubt it will make a well trumpeted appearance it the 15my or 15.5my and only for a few thousand more  2008 MY Supercharged
