Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

Now here is the question , is there a bit of variation in Rimini Red or is it down to different image processors in cameras ?
Gary's looks almost scarlet, Supershuttle's looks almost like Alviston Red and mine more orange Confused

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Java Black

Five variables involved so chances of any of them looking exactly the same colour are probably similar to winning the lottery.

1. The actual colour on the car. One that has been parked in direct sunlight for its entire life compared to one that has been garaged and seldom driven in daylight will be different.

2. Lighting conditions. Morning light is more blue and evening light red. This will have a much bigger impact on a red car.

3. The camera. They all produce slightly different results due to lenses, filters and digital processors.

4. File format. Many to choose from depending on how the final result is to be viewed or printed.

5. Viewing device. Professionals using Photoshop need to regularly calibrated their monitors just make sure what they are looking at on their screen bears some resemblance to what comes out of a printer or is viewed on another device.

The same red could look anywhere between a dirty brown and Ferarri red depending on the above variables. From 1996 to 2007 Ferrari F1 cars were painted in a brighter, almost orange day-glo to adjust for colour balance on modern television screens. 2006 4.4 V8 Vogue SE
