What could be the source of this glitch...?

I have encountered the below problem twice in about 6 months and wonder if anyone has any idea what the problem could be or what would cause this to happen...

So, I walk over to the FF, use the remote to deactivate the alarm and unlock the doors... Hazard lights blink and the interior light swithes on. So far so good and all normal... Thumbs Up

Next, get in the FF, insert the key in the ignition and start the FF... At the moment when the FF starts, the hazard lights blink a couple of times and the interior light switches on. Car runs fine, no errors, etc. Rolling Eyes

Try to switch of the interior light but does not go off anymore. The light stays on whatever I try... Shocked

Switch off the engine, get out of the FF and try to lock the doors with the remote... No luck, the FF will not lock anymore... Censored
Try to lock the FF with the Key manually in the driversside door lock... FF locks and interior light switches off...

Unlock the FF again with the remote, doors unlock, all normal again... Start the FF, no problems, interior light automatically switches off, etc. as usual!! Thumbs Up Question Question

Any ideas / suggestions are welcome, I haven't got a clue... Sad Mike.

Your car thinks its been in an accident and shows all the symptoms... unlocks the doors, switches on interior lights, hazzard lights etc ... Probably a fault with the LCM Thumbs Up

Thanks Craig... Thumbs Up

That would make sense and I hope it's just a glitch... Circumstances both times were different, one time following a short stop after a 250km trip and the second at home after not being used for about 24 hours.

Thanks again!! Mike.
