IID tool arrived today!

Got one off eBay for £200. Emailed GAP this morning and got activation code within 2 hours. Impressive given they don't work Saturdays! That's great customer service that is!

Just had a play with it. Lowered the suspension in access height and it's a lot better for my wife to get in now.

Still no FBH though. Turned everything on in the settings but nothing on the Nav. No doubt I'm doing something wrong/ missed something.

Once you turned it all on did you do a dash reset..? Apparently you have to do this so it appears on screen.

That's what I had to do anyway and it worked fine. Ash

sorry another post but...

You have to do the reset via a hidden menu (found thanks to Steve @ GAP)

Taken from here

Ignition key must be “off”.
• Press and hold the Check Control button in the instrument cluster (RIGHT button), and turn the ignition key to the first position (KLR).
* You will first see "Check Control OK", some seconds later you will see "Test Nr.01"
* Push the left button on the instrument cluster to see the car's identification number. Add the 5 digits (not 6) together and write down that number, you will need it for unlocking all the functions. Example: A123457 will lead to 2+3+4+5+7 = 21
* Push the right button until you see "Test Nr.19"
* Push left button until you see the number that is equal to the one you calculated above
* Push right button again
* Using the left button select 21. Reset all defect codes
* Press the Right button to select. Ash

I'll try that- thanks.

I did think it was just a case of changing it on IID though.

You have to change it in 2 places in the IID Tool and then do an instrument pack reset.

I believe you can do a reset by disconnecting the battery, but I did the test procedure, as pasted above.

At long last, Aux Heating is now showing on the Nav display! Couldn't find it using instrument cluster reset though, so I just disconnected the battery.

I've just tried to pair the T91 remote that I bought off eBay with the T60 unit in the boot, but it won't pair. The LEDs just keep flashing. I haven't got an antenna though, so that might be why.

I tried aux heat using the timer but it blows cold. It is showing 16 degrees on the dash, so that might be why. I'll try it again in the morning.

16°C Shocked

Where do you live, Gabun? Laughing

The FBH should fire even at that temp. Give it 5+ mins, the start up sequence takes a bit and once it is running it still takes a while to heat the coolant.

You should hear the FBH after a min or 2 outside the vehicle.

Yes, I was surprised to see 16 degrees on the screen too!

I can hear the FBH running - I can hear the exhaust as well so all should be well.
