Guys what is the difference be the towing kits for the year models, ie 2002-2005 and 2006- 2009 ? Are the fittings to chassis the same?, electric's the same?

I have seen one for sale that's for the later l322 but wondering if it would fit my 03 l322, personally I cant see any difference as LandRover wont be that stupid to make a new towing kit....would they  If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

You need to search "Tow Armature" - that's the structural beam of which there are different types - there's loads on here about it . . .

 Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

dragon, just got a complete brand new westfailia one from pf jones for £403 delivered less electrics, for my 2003, cheapest around that I could find for a detachable, think I saw the one you are on about on ebay, but in the end, there wont be any seized parts, 2 keys for lock, all the covers and bungs, and gaskets for the bumper, on the new one, so I went for this one 2003 ffrr v8 vogue

You don't need to spend mega money to get a brand new detachable solution, I bought one for my 2010MY from these guys, all OE stuff but WAY cheaper than dealer prices, got a dealer to fit it though as there is a software change to disable rear PDC when in reverse and trailer attached to electrics.

RRUK, can I ask what sort of money you paid for the software update?

I just fitted a towbar to a 2011.5 MY and need the update done.
