Beware that the RAVE only covers models 02 to 04 (BMW based - I have no idea what MY a '52 plate' is, BTW. Another case of Brits and Americans divided by a common language ). Alignment procedures should be the same on later models but the specs may have been changed for better characteristics with the later bigger wheels/tires. You'd have to check w/someone who has access to LR GTR - the online resource that replaced the RAVE - or buy access yourself.
Sorry for going off-topic, but as we've touched on this: can someone explain 'nearside' and 'offside' to me? I'd always assumed that this was from the drivers perspective so that nearside would be RH and offside LH. I've run into several situations where this didn't quite work out.
