Bought a set of rubber mats for the FF from Preloved. Ad stated mats were from an 08 Vogue. Driver, passenger and boot mats fit perfectly. Rear seat mats just seem too big? Where they tuck under the front seats they seem too wide and won't lay flat?
Could these be from an earlier model than advertised?

The size of rear mat changed to a smaller size when the FFRR went from the BMW based seats to the Ford style with the interior facelift. The mats you bought are therefore from a pre 2007 my vehicle

The mats I have in my 2009 came from my original 2003 Vogue and fit fine! TDV8 Vogue SE 2009.
TDV8 Sport. Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!

Earlier mats were for "full fat feet"  .

I bought 2 x rear rubber mats off different sellers recently. Both like new. At least on set was from a pre facelift car and yet both fit, although I had to flat one set down a little with my hand and some body pressure.

Have tried a bit of force pld118 but still not happy. Cant understand why some peoples fit and mine don't.
Think I'll source some later ones and sell these ones on.

That middle pic looks like it would fit if you slid it in narrow end first.

I'm sure I've still got my old 2004 mats in the shed - I'll see if I can find them and compare

Alistair, that is the narrow bit that is slid under the seat. Or am I missing something?

Nice bit of research there Alistair which now confirms things 100%.

Have managed to find a rear set for £30 now. My 'too fat full fat' mats will be in the for sale section soon!

Picked up the correct fitting rear mats today. Just to clarify the difference in shape, I've included a pic of the 2 l/h rear mats.
