Petrol FBH Info

Does anyone know if the petrol webasto fitted to my SC is a standard unit or are the landrover ones modified to work with there ecu's? I've been offered a brand new petrol webasto for sensible money was going to get it as a backup.

Thanks again The difference between theory and reality is that in theory it will work.

I'm pretty sure I read they are not the same - the ones fitted to BMW's and LR's have a K-Bus IC in them.

Also the petrol PCB differs from the diesel one.

Yea physical design is the same AFAIK but the biggest issue will be the K-Bus interface - without this it would be pointless.

There does appear to be a difference with the burner cartridge tho as the is a petrol and diesel version of this replacable part.
