Tow hitch / tow ball Weight

All,
Am I right that all L322 models ('02-12) are restricted to a 250Kg tow ball (downforce) weight? (as opposed to 3500kg tow weight). I note the L405 is now 350Kg / 3500kg.
We are looking at towing a 3000kg off road caravan (Australia) so expect a 300kg (10%) tow ball weight)
cheers

2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Epsom Green

Put in the details in for the vehicle and your area and select 'Owner' from the top right and then owners manual:

Looking at the UK spec 2003 L322 then 250kg is suggested as the maximum:
Extract from Technical Data page 251

TOWING WEIGHTS
Maximum tow hitch load (Nose weight)
If the vehicle is loaded to the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), the nose weight is limited to 330 lb
(150 kg). If a greater nose weight is necessary (up to 550 lb (250 kg) maximum), vehicle loading
should be adjusted to ensure the GVW and rear axle weights are not exceeded.

It also mentions maximum towed weight as 3500kg on road and 1000kg off-road.
