Electrical or Mechanical? Restricted Performance Issues

I keep getting Restricted Performance messages that are no almost permanent, even if I reset them with the IID Tool whilst on the move.

The Restricted Performance issues started with no error messages showing from the IID Tool and has gradually evolved to generating a whole bunch of them, although rarely at the same time. I also have an undiagnosed electrical issue and I'm wondering whether this is in some way contributing to some of the issues, e.g. variable earth problems or electrical interference in MAP or MAF sensor readings?

Most common error is P006A-00 'manifold absolute pressure' error but on occasions these are accompanied by P00BD-07 'mass or volume air low A circuit range/performance - air flow too high'. Other times we get P1247-00 'turbocharges boost pressure low'.

I've not been able to get in to see if the turbo actuator is sticking. I do know the CSOV appears a little stiffer than a new one I've sourced. I've not found any obvious air leaks either although the throttle body hose connection is the usually poor fit that PTFE tape has failed to improve..

Before all this started I had an issue with the the various options on the left hand side of the entertainment flickering and the music cutting out. Bypassing the MOST connection to the Bluetooth module fixed the problem although, in addition to all the issues above, this appears to have returned but fairly intermittently.

Are there any obvious wiring loom issues that I can check for, particularly poor earth connections, etc. before I start looking for more obvious mechanical problems?

My money is on a cracked inlet Manifold. The original part was too flimsy to withstand the pressure of two turbos. It was replaced afterwards for a better quality one.

Get a HIGH PRESSURe smoke test done. Will also let you see if your plenum hoses are all intact. Bonne chance!
