Drawer under Passenger Seat

Should I have a drawer or a first aid kit under my front passenger seat. Not clear from user manual if standard or an option or if the same thing.

I don't appear to have anything under my seat and the extra storage would be useful as the glove box and centre console are both quite small.

Any ideas on parts or cost to install new or used. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

I have read about the said drawer but never seen one.

I would think LR planned on producing it BUT never actully fitted to production vehicles.

Anyway, there's room that you can not use indeed. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

I'm 99% sure that the parts you need are all BMW. I bought all that was necessary, and fitted them to my 55 plate facelift TD6 which I sold last summer. I kept the drawers (both front seats) and mounting brackets that I had fitted, with a view to putting them into my 2007 TDV8, only to find out that the seats are different. Big Cry
You look like you're local to me, so I'll try and dig them out of the garage if you wish. Assuming I can find them, they're yours for a donation to the forum.
Let me know....

Colin

there is a load of info on this on the Range Rover Net Forum - they were fitted to the early BMW seats - and can be retro fitted to the 06 MY BMW seats but not the 07 MY onwards Ford versions

Thanks Colin if you still have them that would be great and I would be more than happy to make a donation. No mad rush as I am going to the US for a couple of weeks from next week and need to get the dealer who supplied to car to sort a couple of problems before I add too much more stuff. I have an office in Harlow so travel via Hertford whenever I go in. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Is this the type of thing, say it is for a RR

Hard to see and photo under the seat but this is what I can see under the passenger seat.

I know the photos are c**P. Under the driver's seat there appears to be a metal plate near the front. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

That's it. Two of those with the mounting brackets and fixing screws.

Thanks, I think I will only be able to fit one under the passenger seat as there is something (some kind of metal plate) coming down near the front of the drivers seat (possibly fire extinguisher mount if same a 7 series BMW) There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
