DSC Activating

Driving the FFRR yesterday what I believe is the DSC activated several times when negotiating larger roundabouts. The roads were wet but not that slippery. Symptoms were vibrating (like ABS activating) on what feels like nsr corner and centre yellow light on. Only happens if I accelerate on bigger roundabouts but have been unable to replicate when pulling out and turning left or right or by accelerating in bends.

Search on here finds one case where a suspension part failed later, could this be the problem in which case I will mention to the dealer when going back for other things hopefully next week or are there other problems it could be, assuming it is not normal. If the suspension will there be signs of future failure or will I have to wait for it to fail before I can claim under the dealers warranty. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Thank for the suggestion. The FFRR should be going back to the dealer while I am away so will get them to check the alignment. Would the swop to genuine FFRR wheels from replica RRS wheels have any relevance?

Tried to replicate today and only managed to get the DSC to activate twice, both times when about 2/3rds of the way round a roundabout. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Try checking your tyres, my S/C had the same issues going round roundabouts at low speed, turns out there was 1mm difference between the front tyres, bought two new tyres and all sorted!

seems more like a tyre issue on wet and possibly cold roads.Check thread depth and check your tyre pressures, might have a slow puncture

Tyres were all new and new RR wheels.

Always seems to be on the same couple of roundabouts unless I try to induce it so maybe just a couple of slippery roundabouts. Never get it with normal cornering or when doing a left circle (opposite way to driving round a roundabout) There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Swap the wheels FRONT - BACK => BACK - FRONT and see what happens.

Also check pressures. roundabouts are the worst place for such things as they are often littered with diesels/oil splats from vehicles and due to thier tight turning requirements and speed often used with them its easy to see why they are accident zones. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Thanks, will get a tyre place to swop them around when I get back from my next trip. Only ever had on a few roundabouts so maybe just slippery places as suggested. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Mine does this occassionally....I researched it and there was a Technical Service Bulletin about it, oversensitive ABS / YAW module on 2006MY.

I never bothered about it, doesnt happen that often.... Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....
