Monaco 2011 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Nara Bronze
Guys I need your advice please...

Bought the 2010 RR in January, black with sand interior. As I bought it off the showroom it didn't come with tints and has the 20inch V-Spoke Alloy Wheels in sparkle silver finish. Now as for the tints I actually like it better without on santorini that is, although like them on grey, silver etc. On black I think overall the RR looks to dark, kind of a "delivery car" look Confused sorry, no offense anybody Whistle As for the wheels I'm thinking of maybe changing to the 20 inch 10-Spoke Alloy Wheels in sparkle silver finish, but not sure here either Rolling Eyes

Thoughts and advice anybody, before I go gaga... Banging Head

2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

You getting the modifying bug already? Laughing

I agree, a black car with light interior does look better without tints.

Let's put it this way... how many Bentleys do you see with tints - and I'm not talking about the Continentals either in case you guys jump down my throat... again Whistle Wink

If you can't live with those wheels - change them! There is another well known member on here that does this on a regular basis. Laughing

Personally, I would look for the 2006> Supercharged 20" wheels, or the latest 2010 Supercharged as a replacement.

But admit it Adam, they do look better with a lighter exterior colour such as yours. Thumbs Up

If I had your coloured car - deffo dark tints as you have, and with silver, Cairns etc. Nice contrast.

With black, there is no contrast. Having said that, black, Adriatic or Buckingham does look nice with a medium tint and a light interior. Java with Ivory 2006 4.2 Supercharged. 23.5k miles - NOW SOLD!

True, some colours look great with tints, i loved the Tonga green with full tints, very mean looking.

Black is a great colour normally but its been overdone, they're just everywhere (no offence anyone with black) but I sort of liked it when black was a cost option and was unique.

I know I am biased but I do LOVE Stornoway Grey with dark tints. Cool Discovery 4 HSE

No, none taken. You are right, black is common - especially with tints. I do like to think my car is somewhat unique in that respect Cool

Stornoway with dark tints does look nice Thumbs Up

agreed, they ARE absolutely everywhere, nearly every RR is blick with the obligatory Privaceee glass Confused when I buy a RR I now specifically avoid this colour - its now become a bit of a joke,

oh you drive a RR is it BLICK?

a black unadulterated vehicle without the darky tints is quite classy

Great, so now I'm happy that I haven't done an "after tint" when I got it Thumbs Up
What about the wheels, keep the ones I mentioned or have the 2010 Supercharged Question Question

Thanks
