2010 Conversion Doubts

[list]So I have gathered all the big parts for the 2004 to 2010 conversion. Just have a few parts left, problem is I am not really sure what parts? I looked through parts list on different posts on here but I fail to comprehend which ones are absolutely necessary and which not. Hoping someone can help out.

List of Parts I have:

-Headlights & Tail lights
-Front Bumper (Fog Bezels, Tow Eye Cover, Silver Trim, PDC Sensors, Fog Lights)
-Grommets for the Rear

Parts I am not sure about or am missing:

-Resistors (PowerfulUK) <-- Do these suffice? I spoke to Supertweaks and they said to invest into "Interface Boxes" for front and back.
-Brackets????
-Top Bar????
-New Crash Bar (I'll probably modify my older one)
-Headlight Wiring Looms
-PDC + Fog Light Looms (Do I really need these? If so where do you get them?)

If there is anything I am missing, please do not hesitate to leave hateful comments telling me which parts I missed Mr. Green hehehehe

So far with everything I have bought and am planning to purchase, I have kept the costs under 1500GBP (not including repainting bumper) and still have to sell my parts which will hopefully make a bit of money here in Canada. Zambezi Silver Range Rover (2010 Autobiography Facelift)

A few of us have carried out these conversions. The resistor things from Powerful are junk and will do nothing. Those interface boxes are needed, a few of us have got them and they ensure that the lights work correctly and indicators work correctly etc.

For pre 2005 models you need the new headlight plugs as the square headlights also have a different plug.

You will need the loom as the the plugs for the sensors and foglights are different to the pre 2009 model.

You will also need the 2010 side brackets for the bumper and main bracket.

You can modify your 2004 crash bar as far as I understand.

You will also need the washer jets and hosing, don't think you can re-use your old hose.

Better to do it properly and not skimp in my opinion.

Hey Stryke, makes sense. Thanks for answering the questions, clears things up a bit. Do you know anyone other than super tweaks that sell the interface boxes?

I bought a set of rears on ebay from someone and they were absolute rubbish. Cost less but didn't work!
When I complained to the ebay guy he wanted me to do testing for him! the supertweak ones I got and a few others are tested and work and well known. Also I prefer to buy from a proper place who give you a guaranty.

As I said mate, no point in skimping on the conversion, you'll regret it and down the line will have to sort out problems.

I know a mate who did his conversion and messed up his electronics trying to save money.

Oh Gotcha! I'll try and get a hold of Rob then, he might offer a cheaper solution I suppose. Stan, I pmed Craig, just waiting on a response from the fella, he's probably doing conversions as we speak hehehe. And Stryke you're right mate, I'll go with the those tempting white boxes. Zambezi Silver Range Rover (2010 Autobiography Facelift)
