Price new € 256.000.--
Price i got after 12 months in a fu***** Censored up market €185.000.-- (and i got lucky there were cars with less kms on the clock for € 10k less)

12 month rate x €4.220.-- = € 50.640.--
+ buying the car out of the contract hire contract form the lease company another € 37.000.--
+ winter tires € 3.000.--

Total € 90.640.--

this might be a really dumb question, but why didn't you just keep the car a little longer so that the depreciation levelled out over a reasonable timescale / mileage. I always reckon on 3 to 4yrs for new vehicles...

selling a car after 12 months to me is financial suicide - but cheaper than a divorce Wink

.......cheaper than a divorce...... and car was sitting for 3 months in my garage me driving the XK Smile - the DBS is a headache to drive in town .... Smile

i had the same problem with my last car, a porsche 997s...
lovely to look at but only drove it at weekends at best..
always seemed to get in the golf TD170 sport..
ended up trading in for 2009 TDV8 vogue and giving the wife the golf..

Agree, I've had an R8 and a GT3 that didn't last long as 2nd cars.......now I only have the RRS...........

made a profit on the R8 Shocked but lost big on the GT3 Big Cry but agree with Angel....you only live once!

I got an offer for the *Yank* from a independent dealer for 22.500.--..

so no part ex for the LR dealer...

i will offer them 50 k + a 2 year LR extended warranty for the SC Cool All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

I wish I could afford to lose that sort of money on a car I didnt use Big Cry Shocked Question Exclamation Wink Very Happy
I was in pain losing 4k after buying a Mazda RX8 and running it from new for a year.
I would have been crying incosolably at 87k in that time
Rx8 was an awesome car for £23k, but not as comfy as my 7 series or the newer FFRR.
