[Wanted] Wanted - cargo nets and bike carrier

Bit of a long shot but anyone got a set of cargo nets or tow bar 3x bike carrier they are looking to get rid of?
Failing that suggestions for where to look. Currently - 55 FFRR S/C and loving it

I think there's a bike carrier in the Sale and Wanted section on the D3 forum at the moment ...

Otherwise, Ebay, Gumtree, Dealer? African Bush Junkie ... in London!

Pendle "Strap On Rack"

Pendle "Strap On Rack" - I've got a www.pendle-bike.co.uk 3 bike rack from our D3 days that is still boxed that we do not use and is pretty much as new. Don't know if it is L322 compatible though.

Thumbs Up

i have spare new 2 bike rack (it can be modded from factory extra parts to carry four -very strong.) make is Yakima 'getaway'. I have some pics, but it needs modifying as the hitch is not long enough. (for an FFRR) its an American make, I have a piece of steel box section, to weld to the hitch, and then a longer threaded bolt is welded to it.(through it) I can explain in some other pics. I bought this and another which I modded and I use my one as it holds 4 bikes. mine folds flat when not in use, this one drops down (against a spring to make bikes lighter) - to lower bikes etc or to open tailgate to get coats out etc..

if you look at the gold hitch piece at the bottom, it needs to be cut and a piece arc welded in to extend it, finally the threaded rod/bar that clamps the end piece will need to be welded in so it works. you will already have the standard towbar hitch with the 50mm square 'hole' this goes straight in, however its too short as it stands, by about 12 inches max. at a push I could do the work for you, but im up to my eyeballs with other crap to deal with at present.

this is how mine looks though. (different model)
note, excuse my non nyloc wingnuts)

both these racks are from USA not available easily in UK.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Im heading towards one of the Thule Rideon carriers, pricey but seem like good kit.

Still looking for cargo nets though. Currently - 55 FFRR S/C and loving it
