Sorted. Sourced a secondhand lock of Ebay for £40. Door card off and 30 minutes later, old lock off, new one on and working. Would be quicker if you were a gynaecologist . Old lock had a makers date of 2001 on it so it has come off the very first production model in 2002. Mine is a late 2003 so it must be pot luck if they last or pack in. |
