England 2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver
Handsfree

I have an updated Bluetooth module and my phone connects to the FFRR no problem. The problem I do have is that everyone I call says that the it sounds like I am underwater and they can hardly hear me. I have tried taking the microphone from the sunroof panel and reconnecting and unplugging the Bluetooth module. Also tried with radio on and off but no difference. I can hear the caller fine (for a handfree).

Any ideas how to try and improve the outgoing sound quality There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Sorry what is an SII and S4? I have the Nokia Bluetooth module in the boot which was upgraded to stay connected, work with my iPhone 5S and download the address book etc.... There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Samsung Galaxy SII and S4

On the SII the quality was questionable, when I changed to a S4 the quality greatly improved, do you get the same problem on other phones?

Have tried a couple of different phones and all similar. People say it sounds like I am under running water. I have taken the microphone from the centre console and checked the connection and all ok. I can hear the caller fine through the car's speakers. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

check the microphone in the roof unit above the mirror. its easy to open up. My first FF 02 plate suffered similar and it just needed a slight reposition behind the panel to make it better. just aim it towards you, mine was pointing forwards Banging Head

I have tried with the microphone removed from the roof mount and held it pointing towards me and no noticeable difference. Also unplugged and plugged the microphone back in I case the connection had come loose. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
