Weekend meet for Eterniti owners

A group of us from the Caravan Talk forum are getting together at Bo-Peep caravan park on the weekend of 11th to 13th of April and a few days either side.

Ask to be pitched with the Eterniti owners when you book, the site owners will know what you mean as they own one.

My next purchase all being well! Won't be for a year or two though.

I've just read the thread Ian. Looks like the awning size is 1050 for the IB4. If anyone wants a nearly new one, I've got a Bradcot Residencia for sale in that size. Less than a year old.

My 1050 awning is a bit short, I would recommend a 1075.

Blimey. I nearly bought one in February at the show as well. Had I not have put a deposit down on the static, I probably would have. Their stand was quite impressive and I know what the NEC charge for floor space.

Yes they have. Friend of ours on his 3rd Eterniti, not as he liked them - just because they never got his original order correct, last replacement has paint issues and seems to have been a "refurb" van that someone else has had first. Been told this morning that his warranty is void and he has a list a mile long.

Disappointing. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

I remember seeing the owner on caravan finder tv just a couple of weeks ago saying he'd just sold his steel business (which he said was worth £40m) and was putting it all into caravans. He's lost a fair old wedge if that's the case.

Sadly true, cash flow problems.

No warranty and I will probably lose the pre paid service package.

Balance on new van ok as paid by credit card.

Ian - is there no way of securing an aftermarket warranty ?

My friend tells me that there are some people with a significant deposit in place for new 'vans and they'll lose that ? Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

At the NEC in February, they were doing 0% finance as long as you put down 50%.

People are looking into insurance type warranty.

I hope to get my prepaid servicing money back, a friend in the VM association got his back when they went into admin.

Some buyers reporting they have lost 14k, did not use credit card but they may have some protection if they took out a credit deal.

That is such a dreadful shame. I was about ready to buy one come the 2015 season and the whole slide out side idea in a standard caravan is something which the industry has needed for a while. The quality was finally coming together as well from all accounts.

Feel for all those affected.
