Electronic problems due to water ingress?

I have a few electronic problems which the dealer can't seem to sort out. My car has been in for nearly 3 months all put together now. Anyway I still have a FBH problem despite them fitting a new unit, it doesn't blow hot air at all, my DVD stops and restarts every 5 minutes, my heated seats don't heat anymore (although the rotary gear knob lights do work!), my Park Distance Control has stopped working recently.
My dealer has not been able to sort these out but has found some water where the electronic modules are in the boot (left where the DVD player is located) and says the electronic problems could be caused by this.
Anyway, I haven't been into any floods and wonder where this water comes from which my dealer is now trying to source for me (big bill in perspective again especially as the dealer told me this will not be part of the warranty and I'm getting a bit fed up with going to dealer and going back each time because nothing has been sorted!).
Anyone had water ingress in the boot yet and did anyone find out where it came from?
I love the car but she is causing me a lot of headaches, I'd like to be able to drive a while without going back to the dealer.

Water ingress

Might be worth getting a smoke machine and letting it do its thing in the car with all doors/windows closed, remove courtesy panels like the dvd cover, spare wheel cover, parcel shelf to allow the smoke to penetrate. If its leaking it should be identifiable from where, and hence how moisture may be getting in. Might save a big garage bill.

Thing is car is at the dealer's right now and the electronic bits need repairing anyway.
