Possible head unit replacement

Hi guys,

Can any of the more tech/electric savvy members tell if this would or could be a suitable replacement for a FF?

http://www.andrive.co.uk/android_bmw_e39.php

They also offer different model BMW ones that might be a possible replacement if the above one isn't.

Cheers Bushy

It seems like quite a bit of €€$$¥¥££ but if it can give you all of the features plus steering controls it might be worth a look. Bushy

Check whether it is only suitable for converting the MID or as a direct replacement for the Vogue non touch screen ? .

I was considering this route too, but I assume we still have to connect our original HU in the glovebox to setup OBC?

Possibly I don't know, unfortunately I can't see a way around it, if you want to keep the computer functions. Bushy

You can set the analogue clock by resetting the fuse at 12, as that's where the clock goes when power restored........ 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

If you run Torque Pro (Android App) you can emulate a fair number of the OBC functions plus more besides.... .

Hi,

Do you know if the HU works with the DSP special amps in a plug and play way?

Thanks.
