Hi Dan

Do you stock replacement hoses (Intercooler to Turbo) for 2008 L322 TDV8?

Thanks

Thanks Dan, but it was the bottom drivers side (Turbo to Intercooler) hose & pipe which I
am now having supplied/fitted by main dealer (79.95 + VAT for hose/pipe!).
Now saving up to pay the bill!

Can I ask where exactly is this hose/pipe located in the engine bay? and would a normal douchbag like myself be able to replace it?

Rory.

There are 2 turbo to interclooler pipes. Both exit from the turbo's under the exhaust manifolds. Hence they are almost impossible to see from above the engine. In my case, the short rubber pipe could not be properly attached to the main metal pipe extending forward from the drivers side turbo to the intercooler. This rubber pipe is attached using jubilee clips and in my case a leaking low pressure fuel return from no.1 injector had contaminated the rubber pipe causing it to slip off. LR do not supply the rubber hose as replacement, you have to buy the whole pipe (c. £90 incl VAT). Local stealer charged £322 in total so guess this equates to around 2 hours for the labour.
IF you are pretty skilled (and agile) I guess it would be possible to just replace the rubber pipe (if this is your problem) from the underside thus saving a hefty bill. As I am well past the age of crawling around under cars, I had no option but to pay up and look pleasant. At least the coffee was good and they did provide a nearly new Freelander for the day. Hope this helps!

Thanks Bill, Does any one know if there is there an engine diagram for the 06-09 FF to show this location? I'd really love to see it.

Rory.

Rory
Suggest you download the 2006-2010 workshop manual - see wiki for details.
Photo's are shown of the left and right hand turbo to intercooler tubes under
section 303-04D together with dismantling instructions for access. Best of luck!
Bill.
