My spare MY08 Key is flat & lost it's syncing

I have searched to web looked through the book my spare RR key was flat I have charged it but it won't open the car do I have to sync it, if so how as I have searched & come up blank.

As always thanks for any help Razz

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

If you do a search on flip keys and Daveo you will find the sync procedure! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
