Since taking delivery I've had this rattle in the rear that neither I nor the Dealer could locate. Sounded like metal on metal on plastic, at low speeds over rough road surface.

I think (hope) that today I solved it, whilst investigating why the subwoofer seems very vibrational when playing certain music.

It turns out that the Sub is secured at the top with a nut and washer. It is accessed by removing the rear left panel.

It was about 3 full turns loose, meaning the metal washer was rattling on the nut and on the plastic casing.

After tightening and a test drive it seems much improved and those tracks with the heavy bass are no longer sounding like empty crisp packets in the speakers!  Discovery 4 HSE

Mine had similar, though was more noticeable when the music was up loud.
