JE remap

Hi,

I picked up my TDV8 last week and had it remapped by JE Engineering. For anyone who is thinking about having their TDV8 remapped, do it. Power increased from standard (278 bhp i think) to around 315 bhp and torque from 500 to 600 ft/lb. The gear changes appear to be much smoother too.

Really livens up the engine and reduces turbo lag. The car actually feels like my old 4.2SC FFRR now - but obviously has much better fuel economy!

Before the remap I got 29mpg on a long run, now I'm getting 34mpg on a long motorway run.

For a big 2.7 tonne car, it's amazing!

About the same vintage and mileage as mine but I can't get better than 25mpg no matter how hard I try?

Like the idea of 545bhp instead of 'only' 503bhp for the 5.0ltr SC......... mmmmmm Regards

2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I have been torn with this since I owned mine. I have remapped every other TD car but read so many 'fails' that I have never bothered. The 270-ish tbh delivers plenty but I do like the idea of a 300+ and a decent chunk of torque to go with it.... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
