impressive..

i've seen the small boxes that plug into your ciggy lighter socket and the other end goes onto a 12v battery, you wait 10/15 minutes and then yours starts but this seems to be an advancement on that with its own battery..

Maybe I'm sceptical but I'd be willing to bet that would not start a dead, cold FFRR in the UK.
Maybe in California - in summer.

Sorely tempted, got another electrical drain, due to leave the car at the airport, either this or one of the solar chargers from Maplin. Car was completely dead in November after 1 week, battery has been replaced within the last 1.5 years, the joy continues.

If only £91 and works as well as they claim, why don't manufacturers use these batteries in their vehicles? No more flat batteries then.... 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

How does a "starter" unit with a battery capacity of 1300mAH start a car having a standard battery of capacity

Amazing ! All this technology, yet Apple can't make a battery for my iPhone that will last a day! Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

^ in the same way as the broke UK, French, Dutch etc governments are lending billions of euro and pounds to Greece. They don't have the money but the can give away as much as they want. Pure magic my dear niceforaday

I was referring to the specification for the unit stan highlighted above. Thumbs Up
I don't doubt the unit in the original post is in the same order or thereabouts.
