Need to get One of These

The new Overfinch Country Pursuit car probably the most sophisticated Range Rover in their 33 year history.

Overfinch state it is "Aimed at the upper echelons of sports-loving society"

With a full luxury specification that can still do the business off-road means that this vehicle is more than ever the “all purpose, all season Supercar” – a phrase coined by Country Life magazine when testing the Overfinch 570T model in 1982.

But this is not a simple styling exercise, the V8 is tweeked up to 470bhp and has a new Brembo braking system to make sure it can stop. The suspension is also modified to lower the car by 20mm at fast road speeds but raise it a further 25mm when going off piste.

Unlike the press releases we receive from other manufacturers they don't even attempt to list its 'green' credentials, probably because there aren't any! But it is encouraging to see that there is still a market for well designed and well packaged vehicles.

High Performance Supercharged 4.2V8 - £143,950
Diesel models start from £123,495

The only problem with the air cooled seats is that I felt they are too hard compared to the non Vogue SE seats.

In an ideal world, the only car I would ever need is a Vogue SE, TDV8 and get it chipped by JE Engineering, 327BHP, 800nm Torque. Discovery 4 HSE
