TDV6 from RR Sport

The current TDV6 is around 250BHP and yet the smaller Sport has around 300BHP. Do you think this more powerful engine will find it's way in to the L405. I was going to place an order soon and this is quite a fundamental change.

Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Don't know, but it's all change this year as the EU6 emission laws come in. Rumour is the V8 diesel dies, but I don't know how true that is. Can't see it myself as they sell loads of 'em, but if they were to intruduce a 300bhp V6 they'd need to up the power of the 335bhp V8.

SDV8 has apparently been adapted for Euro6 with SCR and start/stop - supposedly around until 18MY.

I asked the same question on Pistonheads, my dealer indicated (wrongly) that this happened in MY15.5 changes...maybe its further down the line. I cant see why they would not carry over the engine.

Update:

I asked LR customer services if it was in the pipeline, they said no and pointed me in the direction of the hybrid.
