Aaargh brakes again.

Kudos to the man who just saved me a load of hassle.

On hoiliday with the tin tent, we went out for a day trip. Nice day out! Anyway on the way back there was a horrible grinding from the back, osr brake sticking (again). Fortunately there was an ecp on the way back to the van. Popped in and picked up a cheap set of pads, to get me home thinking id swap them, wind the caliper in and sort it properly when i got home.

Low and behold i too have swollen nuts so couldnt get the wheel off With the brace, and found i had also got no tools! Left them at home. Big Cry

Time to call the man in the yellow van......

Duly arrived 30 mins later, senior technician. Yes sir, definitely overheating osr brake!

Removed the wheel, stripped the brakes down, diagnosed that it was the rear pads stuck in the caliper carrier! Removed and cleaned the caliper carrier, fitted the new pads, repeated on the other side.

All now nice and free. Wish i had bought a better set of pads! But was thinking of them as disposable at the time! Great service, experienced mechanic and a sorted
Car. All for the price of a set of pads!

Knew i was an AA member for a reason! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
