Hi chaps
I'm not with my 2003 vogue at the moment to check but tomorrow we are taking it to the local point to point meeting as it's my daughters birthday party 12 x 14 yr old girls Rolling Eyes they are bound to be in and out of it all day doors boot open about 500 times is there a way of turning interior lights totally off or should I pull the fuse and if so is it easy to locate which one
Cheers

My FF is a 56, but i'm fairly sure yours will work the same, best thing would be to pop out and try this and see if it works for you. Thumbs Up

With the interior lights on (after opening a door and then closing it), if you press and HOLD the black button on the FRONT interior light for about 15 seconds, they will be turned off (includes footwell lights, puddle lights etc). They will remain off, even if the vehicle is locked / unlocked again, until you press the black centre button on the front light again (briefly). They will then revert to normal operation. Thumbs Up

Don't think there is any facility to do this with the lights in the loadspace however, so you will need to tell them (on pains of death Twisted Evil ) not to keep opening the tailgate. Mr. Green 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)

I've not seen a switch for them, not like the old days.

I know they time out and stay off after a period of time if a door is left open, about 10/15 mins with door open and they turn off. Don't think they come back on until the ignition has been cycled, but you'd need to test.

Thinking on, they reset if the car is locked and then unlocked, so that ain't gonna work for you.

Looks like you may have to pull the fuse, but looking in the workshop manual, it's not obvious which one and there are 2 or 3 regarding light modules......not too many pages in....

Full fat ray posted whilst I was typing.

Interesting to see if that works.

A bit easier than removing fuses.

I know you can stop the luggage area lights coming on under certain conditions with navcoder.......

Does the passenger compartment lights come on if you use the button on the key fob to open the tailgate only ? Don't remember.

Downside to that is you could end up with the keys locked in the car if someone puts the keys down whilst in the boot and then forgets and shuts the tailgate....... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Right, just had a look in the manual, if you want to turn the lights on and off manually, briefly press the button for the main light in the overhead console.

If you want to turn off the automatic lights completely, hold the button for 3 seconds.

Repeat the above to enable the lights once more.....
