I've just bought an 05 Vogue, that I am slowly getting to know.

Question (that the manual appears to be silent on).

When I plug a trailer into the electrics, a green trailer light is showing on the dash. This appears to be intermittent and not related to anything I'm doing. I have two theory.

1. It should be on all the time to show that the car is in trailer mode.
2. It should flash with indicators to show trailer indicators working...

Anyone who knows what it really means?

I believe it flashes with the indicators as a reminder at junctions 09 TDV8 Westminster, Mariana Black, Rear seat entertainment, hatch bag and 2 slobbery mutts

On 2006 facelift model trailer green light stays on all the time trailer is plugged in . if flasher bulb is out on trailer normal flasher warning will flash quicker .

Upto 2006 they flash And after they stay on and you get a message saying check trailer bulb if one is out. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

hmm. Not all good news then!

ETA. My father spotted that the car was registered Dec -05. I suspect it may be a 06 model year. Any ways to tell?
