Trolley jack or Air jack?

I want to take the wheels off my RR for some general maintenance. I hate using a bottle jack so I'm thinking of buying a trolley jack or air jack to lift the car before placing axle stands underneath it. Any thoughts on which would be best? I'm thinking the air jack because you can just slide in underneath to suit the placement of the axle stands.
All opinions welcome. Ta. Travelling around in circles again.

An air jack won't work on twin exhausts unless you plug one of the exhausts....

If you mean the air jacks used for off roading then by time you've set up the air jack and pumped it up high enough to get a wheel off the ground you could have lifted it on a trolley jack and had the wheel off. OK for an emergency on soft ground but too cumbersome and slow for working on a vehicle (I tried mine at the weekend). If you mean professional air jacks with a proper compressor then they are pretty good but expensive and need a compressor.

You don't want to be under it, setting axle stands with an air jack, if it burst, or more likely slips out you'll have a Range Rover on your head....

Get a decent trolley jack... Pete
