Oh, I like the idea of Astons with AMG powertrain/gearboxes and Merc electrical bits - lovely! 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Anything which improves reliability and build quality at AM simply has to be a good thing. I *love* Astons, always have, but I am all too aware of their shortcomings.

I also think it will do AMG and Merc no harm at all in terms of prestige.
