All the other upgrade bits!!

Hi guys.

Thanks so much for your reply see 2010-2012 upgrade on an early l322. Ive read loads and have a good idea of how it all works now. Although I've searched and searched I haven't found too much more regarding what else needs to go with (within reason).

I'm guessing:-

Titanium "Range Rover" front rear badge
Titanium "Vogue" boot badge
Titanium Number plate boot trim
Titanium front bumper trim
White side repeaters
Black Land rover oval badge for boot
Possible Range rover glovebox badge
Colour coded full mirrors and door handles
Wheels (maybe stormers?)
Maybe heater controls
Roof aerial?
I understand the list could be endless, but is there much more that you guys are changing I haven't yet heard of?

Remove the horizontal rubber from the bottom of the rear window. Slides out. Not fitted to later cars.

Not sure later ones have a LR badge ?

Stormers never fitted to ff. only rrs. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Where is the piece of rubber mate or am I missing something?

Bottom of rear window. Poss 4 odd foot long, full width, above range rover. Open top tailgate, slide it out.

Later ones don't have it. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Yep thats the one.

Should slide out. Pointless water collecting device......

Agree with ^^ stormers never seen on ffrr, have a look in ebay and bargain spots stan saw a set of style 11 alloys with good conti tyres for about £800, which is a fair price. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks I will try and get it moving, feels like it might need some persuading to start it moving but at least I now know there are no clips etc to worry about There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

I often wonder what they are like to remove when it's been fastened on for a few years.

Many thanks mr monkey jones. Turning up at the job centre in the ff was always interesting.......

The old girl is now doing 40 miles a day instead of less than 10. Much better for it. 4 junctions on the M1 to near the Meadowhall junction is fine in the morning, but not good at 5pm......

That's my understanding.

You may be able to see it in profile when you open the tailgate.

Obviously it's all got to slide, so if even one bit is slightly stuck, it's not gonna slide.

You will prob get a bit of a feel for it once you start...... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
