It's a bit annoying as the work that I'd done to that P38 had it as near to perfect as it could be.

for this very unlikely reason, and having witnessed this first hand, (someone else's) I always carry a decent fire extinguisher in the car. around min. 2 litres in size, around £25 they cost so little, and you can normally find 'old' ones at office companies, that have had them date changed. -there is a tiny risk, infintessimal, that it wont work. but its such a simply thing to have as standby, to give you a chance of avoiding a small flicker, spreading. obviously the first picture is way too late to be looking for using it..

I can fully understand your motivation to return the the car and save a few things , but you were lucky and you probably wouldn't get away with it another time |
