Eventually bought a 60 plate 4.4 TDV8 as an interim whilst I make up my mind on the spec of a new L405.

Slowly getting used to it and apart from a couple of niggles I'm very impressed.


1. Happened 2 or 3 times now, but when doing motorway speed there's a 1/2 second or so pause, almost as if there's some sort of fuel starvation or it's trying to change into 9th and then realising it's only 8 speed.

2. Easy entry, have this ticked on the dash menu but nothing happens. The car does have deployment steps but I can't see this making any difference.


Any ideas, or is it a case of book it in and wallet out?

The hesitation is apparently a software issue re injectors, a reflash at the dealer cured it.

Easy entry - have you tried it with both keys, and a memory position stored?

Not tried with the main key, but memory is stored. Will try with the other key tonight.
