Well I needed to get the FF pixel display fixed, so phoned up Keith James at Akspeedo to see what and how long to do the job.
I can safely say the speedo was sent on Monday morning and was returned this morning (Wednesday), fitted and working like it came out the factory, a job well done. Thumbs Up
Keith replaced the pixel display.

If anyone else has pixel problems, give Keith a ring, don't bother trying it yourself, not worth the agro imo. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Stan, you can have the ribbon cleaned and refitted if its good, for £80 and the hole ribbon thing replaced for £99, inc return delivery.
I had mine replaced with a new one. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

Good job. Trickiest job I had to do with speedo was replacing the lens not for the faint hearted Thumbs Up Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I'm glad it worked out so well. Considering the small difference in price, a new ribbon sounds like the best way to go.
