Does anybody know if a DAB unit from a Discovery 4 can be plugged into a 2006 FF?

Was just wondering if they were changeable like the TV units, Bluetooth units etc to give DAB?

Have seen this one:

Appears to have the fibre connectors but wondered if anyone had any experience before I hit the buy it now button.

I would suspect not. I don't think the head unit was ever designed for DAB, hence most folks go done the 3rd party route for DAB on "older" cars Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

That's a shame... was being hopeful it might of been a simple solution. Oh well... back to the drawing board.

when DAB was fitted to LR vehicles they used the MOST fibre optics but the signals are a different bit rate so these units wont work in our older FF's... ... - .- -.
