the audi Quattro was a rare-ish car, the GT coupe looked like one (a bit) . the rally SWB models are legends, and are collosall money.
my friend had an audi 200 turbo. everybody else had the audi 100 (boring) it was a sort of executive 4 door Quattro. boy ! did it go!
when the exhaust fell off, it sounded even better too. they were so cheap back then too. very unassuming. here.

Some cracking motors there.

All I need is to do the lottery now, and win it.......

On your first video, did you see the Lancia parked up with the engine cover up? Anyway, great videos, but if I had a choice it would be an S4 or a 037..... I wish! Previously..

If you want to listen to real power........

Jaguar XJ13 from 1967. Norman Dewis had a crash in the original one at 140mph at MIRA in the early 70's, this is the rebuilt car from the original bucks.

The engine was Jaguars first quad-cam V12 which subsequently ended up in the E-Type V12.
The XJ13 was built for Le Mans in 1968, but before it raced the engine capacities for Prototypes was reduced so it never raced, apparently Norman has access to a Ford GT40 in which he did back to back comparisons, and the Jag would have been a GT40 beater!

I was a D3-Man when he started the build....

He also secured the nice chrome tailpipes we all sported at one point too Whistle

Lovely car....and a very well detailed build..... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

I've always been besotted by quattros & mesmerised by thier rally success in the 80's.
I was talking to a young(ish) chap a few months ago who worked in a petrol station. His car was a tornado red 20valve coupe that had been in his family since new - it was fantastic.
I've a video of a quattro Sport doing the short tarmac circuit at Donington Historic this year - I'll dig it out.
Can't remember if it put out 500,600 or 700 ponies (!)

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Last year at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire, they held a 'Rally Day'. Most of the cars attending were original Group B cars of the 80's and included Stig Blomqvists original Audi Quattro. Below are some pics of the car and the man himself!

The car pushed out 550BHP
