United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Stornoway Grey
New Awesome Wheels

Well after a long search I finally found a set of style 11’s that I would be happy with as I have always wanted a set and thanks to Adam ( RRUK ) I now have an amazing set of style 11’s on my Gorgeous SC

Was really nice to meet Adam and have a chat and he loaded the wheels into my car ( thank you very much for that Adam as I wouldn’t of been capable )

Previously had ordered a complete set of new wheel bolts and locking nuts from Dan at Duckworths , thank you Dan for a speedy delivery of nuts and rear tailgate struts ( they look a bit shabby so decided to replace , well intend to replace ) ( new wheels need new nuts ) especially as the old ones were dying slowly.

Was going to buy new plates where the struts fit the tailgate but after finding out the price I think I will just have a go at cleaning them up and painting them, oh by the way Dan can the bolts that hold the plates in place be purchased separately ? , going off topic on my own thread ( yes I am a plonker but you guys all know that anyway )

Back to the new wheels , they were lovingly placed in the back of my SC with Adams Help ( many thanks again ) …. ( a total nightmare preparing the car as the dog cage had to come out and go in the garden , a few scuffed fingers in the process going down the ally way Big Cry , I went straight to my tyre guy to get them changed over and couldn’t believe he only charged me a tenner … Mind you I have used the same company for years and they are really friendly and as the wheels didn’t need balancing was all good to go , mind you I did stipulate that no air gun was going anywhere near my new nuts and the whole job was done by hand. A massive thanks to Southall Tyres.

Oh as Gary knows I really wanted to buy his 5.0 SC but to be totally honest I would of had an extremely nice 5.0 litre SC but would probably be divorced after Big Cry

Adam I can't thank you enough for letting me have first dibs on these wheels as they are in amazing condition and look absolutely awesome , I have always said , WHEELS MAKE THE CAR !! Bow down Bow down

Oh I now understand why peeps say about good quality tyres ( not that I will be able to afford to replace with the same Big Cry ) as this SC , well the handling has improved immensely, I know I was wrong and happy to admit it Bow down

Now for just a few ( more than a few Embarassed ) pictures Thumbs Up

Old Style and soon to be up for sale , have no idea what the are worth but two have Nexus Rodians with loads of meat and the other two have cross cont;s with not so much meat

An now for the amazing transformation Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Outside No Censored Scumsville street Rolling with laughter

Well its been just over a year of ownership and I don't mind admitting there have been some good experiences and some Censored horrible experiences which I am not allowed to talk about and to be totally honest I don't see any point ( total over reaction is all I am saying ) Whistle

Hope you enjoy viewing this transformation

And a Big thanks to Adam and Dan @ Duckworths and to all of those who contribute to this forum as it has helped me immensely Thumbs Up

Would like to take this opportunity to apologise to any that I have offended ( apart from one ) as it was never meant to offend , I just don't know how to be diplomatic and I don't know a lot about etiquette , am just a run of the mill scumbag Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Oh , Stan , please don't edit anything out of my post as I would like to think there is nothing bad been said Thumbs Up

And on that note Billy No Mates is of to Costa's for a Coffee and , well who knows Thumbs Up Current : 4.2 S/C, now Sold Sad

Muttley , On nearly everyone of your posts you are always apologising in case you offend anyone ......

All i can say is if someone gets offended by any passing statement ... TOUGH F Censored G TITTIES ....such is life

Everyone on here is big enough and ugly enough to let it go over their head ....

So stop apologising ......

PS ... Sorry if i have offended you ....... Like f Censored k i am ....

Re: New Awesome Wheels

If you move to a L405, either move, get a recessed front window, or definitely don't go for the LWB.
