Thinking about a cheap MGF/TF as a summer run about.
Yes I know it's the worst time of year to buy but anybody got any opinions/better options.
budget is £1500

Summer is optional.
I do a 30 mile cross country trip up to Buxton every day, to save the FF from to many miles I use a Micra unless the weather is bad but the Lad needs that as he's doing his test so looking for somthing a bit more fun.
And dont say get a SC! Rolling Eyes Mine was a blue one! Smile

You want wind in the hair.... buy a landrover series 1 or 2 and put down the rag top and the windscreen, ha presto proper motoring Laughing and if it rains it don't matter about the interior getting wet Mr. Green If it dont work.......burn it!

If it hasn't already had the gasket and dowels done then don't spend much on it and get the job done.

Or buy a Saab convertible instead and enjoy that knowing that if your in an accident or roll it you'll more than likely walk away instead of having some of solihulls worst tin sticking out from various parts of your body..... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Just an idea Smile the 2.3t's are a wee bit quicker and parts aren't bad really as they are just poxhauls underneath that are a lot stronger Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

You wont regret it, they are great fun and cheap, just keep an eye on the coolant level, better still fit a coolant alarm.

This is mine
