Dashboard / Binnacle upgrade from 2004 to newer?

Hi,

wondered if it was possible to upgrade the gauges / binnacle element of my 2004 v8 L322 to a newer style? I think mine is faulty and figured I may as well investigate this at the same time Smile

I Believe that the 2005 on cars have a totally different bus / electrical system to the BMW era (pre 05) cars, in which case it would be a MAJOR job as you would have to replace looms, fit fibre optic bus cables, change nav unit, etc etc. Big Cry
