OK as I was saying many many pages ago, this is how LAND ROVER designed the L322 to look. Enough said:

I must admit, those chunkier wheels / tyres do look rather good. Si. <This is my name.

Mr Vogue I am actually a tyre fetishist and have an interest in how they work and how they look.

My point about yours is that they have a straight edge like a coin rather than a bevelled or rounded edge. This means that when viewed from side or shalloe angle you see very little aggressive tread.

Pirellis are especially good looking from the side and most angles.

The performance of your tyres is another matter as they are of course an excellent choice Thumbs Up

The wheels / tyres are one thing, but that initial rendering also shows another key difference in order to accommodate the tyres...

The arches are flared far more.

I honestly don't think the style of wheels and tyres in the rendering would work without subtle wheelarch flaring.

OK, so drawings aren't 'the real thing' and I accept compromises must be made, but to fit something like that underneath a FF's standard arhces would require narrower tyres / wheels so they sit just underneath the arches and to avoid fouling.

My initial thought of tyre was something like the Cooper STT, but I doubt you'd get that in a low enough profile. And most low profile rubber isn't made aggressively enough for off-road applications to be true to the rendering.

Wonder the Cooper ST would do the job? Si. <This is my name.

All my comments on this thread relate to the fact that the Thread is about STYLE and the way the L322 looks rather than the way it functions Smile
