iid tool and fault finding

Question for the guys who will know

Just having a play round the iid tool and seeing what faults there are, and to be fare only 2...

in the abs 1 have 5a system deactive temp and 2 8a air suspension system can error.

now both where checked after I cleared the air sus fault I had earlier and did the lock to lock as well.

What in plain English are the 1 and 2 faults?

I will be playing about with the tool ( that's sound so wrong Whistle Laughing ) when I have more time to see where things are.

But a great tool so far though. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Yes thanks Thumbs Up
Since clearing the fault all is good so far, I can only guess why the eas locked out was due to a very poorly track rod end and the steering wheel sensor had a fit.
Both times the steering wheel was at full lock and moving up hill slow speed, mind Im only guessing but 2 track rod ends are on the way.

The iid tool has sorted that annoying bong key in ignition reminder though Thumbs Up
Bit unsure if I should disable the steering wheel retraction. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

I've always had the can bus error on the EAS, from what I've read it's a common fault but doesn't actually effect anything... mine works fine with it... Pete

Correct, those CAN error are a common occurrence and should be left alone unless there`s a real problem with the system.
