Waterfall in car!

Hi, had my motor for about a month now and with the standard uk summer weather now upon us I've noticed a major water ingress problem. After heavy rain I notice that when I open the drivers door water suddenly pours down the bottom door speaker and nearby. Any ideas?

Door opening water is normally water getting trapped between the two door SEALS more common on back doors. Check both inner and out seals are undamaged and seated correctly although not sure how this could get to door speakers etc Shocked (Normally just dumps a puddle on your feet)

there is a solution where you put a bit of wood on the bottom of the door and press the door against it causing the door to bend slightly....do a search its here somewhere.. ... - .- -.

When I open the top half of the boot after heavy rain, waters always splashes on the the parcel shelf at either side. Any cure for this or is it a design fault ?
