How easy is it to fit a replacement rear bumper?

Hi everyone, my rear bumper (which already has more filler than a polyfilla factory) has been dinged again. There is a bumper in the right paint code on eBay which looks in good nick; how easy is it to remove /replace a rear bumper (and change over parking sensors)? Is it a DIY job with the car on its wheels? Anyone got any instructions/ diagrams/ how tos?

Thanks!

Thanks! Well, that looks easy, so long as the bolts come out cleanly!

I removed the rear bumper on my MY2003 a month or so. It was a simple job, in fact so simple I had that dreaded feeling of " I must have done something wrong", but I hadn't. Off in about half an hour, on in about 15 minutes.

Not such a problem if your fitting a replacement though Stan... One could smash the bumper to bits if he is replacing with another Thumbs Up

Watch the clips at the sides below the rear wings, they can easily snap, no too much of a problem if you are scrapping the old one. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
