I have 20" 275 Stormers fitted to my RR. Can the stormer alloy wheel be used with a narrower tyre?. I ask because there seems to be a greater variety of narrower tyres to choose from than the 275 55r20's on offer. I'm after something that is part way between a Cooper LTZ and a Pirelli Scorpion but without having to change my wheels.

stormers are either 9j or 9.5j wide, it will say on the inside of the rim .......standard FF rims are 8.5j and have 255/50/20 tyres on them..

if 9.5j it could be risky ,if 9j then its not so bad but i personally wouldn't risk it but its doable.. ... - .- -.
