if a venture cam transmits its video to the FFRR screen, can a cheap wireless camera do the same ..i gather there are two frequencies involved , 434mhz and 2.4ghz, so how do i find out which one i have.. ... - .- -.

hi scarey, i think you will find its 2.4ghz ,i have messed around with my one allot, tried with a separate receiver that's tuneable,no joy tried a few cameras with no joy, i now bluetooth is involved but thought that was the connecting of the cam and registering it,you can have up to 8 of them, does your cam charge with the ignition off.. any way i have 3 v/c and cant get any to work... i am waiting on colins project to come on as he will be able to help me out... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

i havnt got one at the moment dave...i have read somewhere that the 433mhz frequency activates the system and the 2.4mhz bluetooth frequency is the video link....i'm thinking a cheap wireless camera wired in with the reverse lights would work but it seems a lot more complicated... ... - .- -.

hi mate, no tried that on a working syste with no joy...but can run 4 cameras from my pc in the car, looking for some camera software that will display all 4 on a split screen. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
